FrenchPod101
FrenchPod101 is a partly free French podcast for beginner to advanced learners (A1–C1). A huge structured library for beginners; the free podcast feed is just a sampler.
Checked October 2026 on the official site ·
FrenchPod101 is a large library of short audio and video lessons organised by level, from survival phrases to advanced. A free lifetime account gives new free lessons each week and the first three lessons of every series; Basic, shown from $4 a month on a 24-month plan, unlocks all lessons and lesson notes, and Premium tiers add more tools. The public podcast feed has not had a real new lesson since 2022, so treat it as a sampler. It suits a beginner who likes short, structured lessons with English explanations. It does not give you long stretches of natural French, and the pricing page leans heavily on discounts.
